Army seeks support for cybersecurity risk management

The Army wants industry help to support its Defensive Cyberspace Operations organization with cybersecurity risk management services.

The Army is searching for companies that can support its Defensive Cyberspace Operations organization with cybersecurity risk management services.

Work would also include cybersecurity system engineering activities to support assessments of the DCO Suite of Complimentary Systems, as well as critical emerging technologies, and mission capabilities, across multiple secure computing environments.

The project currently has five task areas:

  • Cybersecurity program management support
  • Information security system engineering support
  • Risk management framework continuous monitoring support
  • Configuration management support
  • Cloud hosting and security engineering support

DCO’s mission is to establish defense-in-depth across all of the Defense Department’s cyberspace by simultaneously combining DCO capabilities for mission assurance.

The Army intends to set-aside the work for small businesses.

The Army released a request for information July 27. Responses are due by Aug. 3.
