CACI takes in $23M DOD financial system contract

CACI International receives a $23 million contract to help the Defense Department further develop and maintain an enterprise financial management system in part for its audit readiness efforts.

CACI International has received a five-year, $23 million contract to help the Defense Department further develop and maintain an enterprise financial management system intended in part to help DOD with its audit readiness efforts.

The contract supports the DOD Defense Agencies Initiative that works to help department components transform their budget, finance and accounting operations. CACI will work with DAI to implement the Oracle-based Enterprise Business System for more than 40,000 users at 22 DOD agencies, the company said Monday.

Work also includes maturation of DAI process and procedures as the program adapts agile software development methods and refines sustainment activities ahead of larger-scale implementations.
