Polaris Alpha adds former Strategic Command civilian executive Steve Callicutt to the company's board of advisers.

Polaris Alpha said Wednesday that former Strategic Command civilian executive Steve Callicutt has joined the defense technology contractor’s board of advisers.

Callicutt recently retired after a 39-year career that included 24 years of active duty in the Air Force and roles as a Senior Executive Service member.

More recently, Callicutt was director of capability and resource integration at Stratcom. He led work to conduct force management and analysis for the integration and advancement of future concepts, weapons system development, emerging technology support and command-and-control architecture.

He is also a former senior technical director for the Air Force’s command-and-control and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance center in Langley, Virginia.
