DARPA makes $850M services contract open for bids

DARPA unveils the solicitation for a five-year, $850 million contract to acquire professional and technical services.

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is now accepting bids on a five-year, $850 million contract for professional, scientific and technical services to support programs and services across different functional areas.

DARPA posted its request for proposals on the Technical and Analytical Support Services contract to FedBizOpps Tuesday. Bids are due to the agency by 1 p.m. Eastern time on Feb. 8. Questions about the solicitation must be sent to DARPA by 3 p.m. Eastern on Jan. 17.

TASS is a full-and-open competition to support the DARPA director’s office and nine other offices. DARPA could add or delete offices from the contract’s scope as necessary.

Advisory and assistance services will encompass technical, financial, administrative, acquisition, business process, public affairs, legislative affairs, legal matters and event help to support the agency’s national security technology investment mission.
