Lockheed takes $77M Navy cyber IT support contract

Lockheed Martin has won a five-year, $77.7 million contract to provide cybersecurity support services to the Navy for IT systems used by the branch’s cyber workforce.

Five bids were submitted for the contract, the Defense Department said in its Monday contracts digest. Services will include analysis, design, development, test, integration, deployment and operations of IT systems.

Jacobs Engineering Group is the incumbent and was first awarded the contract in April 2014 through the General Services Administration’s Alliant 1 vehicle, according to Deltek.

Lockheed will perform the work through December 2022. The primary location is China Lake, Calif. -- home to the Naval Air Warfare Center’s weapons division.
