OPM is considering a five-year contract for program management and technical support services for the HR LOB. The agency released a sources sought notice Nov. 5 to find small businesses that are capable of providing the services.

OPM will host a pre-solicitation industry day Nov. 13 at OPM’s Theodore Roosevelt Building in Washington, DC, to discuss the needed services.

The HR LOB wants support for human resources information technology (HRIT) strategy and governance, modernization and transformation, enterprise architecture, performance assessment and improvement, business case development, and program management.

Building on previous eGov initiatives, the HR LOB aids Chief Human Capital Officers Council and promotes governmentwide strategic management related to human capital.

OPM is accepting questions about the potential procurement until Nov. 20. All responses are due as late as Nov. 29.
