KeyLogic Systems hires former NASA executive John Marinaro as vice president of the company's federal civilian division.

KeyLogic Systems has hired former NASA executive and three-decade military and government service veteran John Marinaro as vice president of the federal civilian division.

Marinaro joins the Morgantown, W. Va-based engineering services company nearly one month after its acquisition of biometrics and forensics contractor CrossResolve.

A Senior Executive Service member since 2009, Marinaro worked as director of safety engineering technical excellence at NASA. His space agency career also includes time as executive director of an advisory safety panel after the 2003 Space Shuttle Columbia tragedy and leadership over the NASA University for Safety.

Prior to NASA, he worked for the Naval Air Systems Command and Federal Aviation Administration. He is also a 23-year veteran of the Marine Corps, Navy Reserve and Army National Guard.
