CSRA bests four to win Navy cloud brokerage pilot work

CSRA beats out four other bidders to win a potential three-year, $34.7 million cloud computing brokerage pilot contract with the Navy.

CSRA has won a potential three-year, $34.7 million contract to help the Navy create a cloud computing brokerage system for the branch’s warfare centers and Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific.

SSC Pacific sought help for a cloud service pilot program to build the brokerage in support of the Navy’s research-and-development enterprise, the Defense Department said in its Friday contracts digest.

The Navy received five offers for the BPA via the General Services Administration’s E-Buy website and awarded the contract against GSA’s Federal Supply Schedule 70 vehicle. The BPA covers a one-year base period at $7.3 million and a pair of one-year options that would extend the pact’s value to its full ceiling.

Work will take place in Fairfax, Va.
