Engility lands potential $119M Army logistics contract

Engility Corp. will work to help the Army automate many of its logistics functions under a potential five-year, $119 million contract.
Engility Corp. has won a potential five-year, $119 million contract to help the Army implement more process automation functions into its logistics operations.
The contract contains a three-year base period with a two-year option and was awarded in the second quarter.
Work will support the branch's Logistics Modernization Program used by more than 30,000 users at more than 50 Army and Defense Department locations.
The Army seeks to implement a new nationwide enterprise resource planning tool into LMP via planned increments and also support ERP integration efforts for the branch and DOD.
LMP also interfaces with more than 80 DOD systems.
