CENTRA bests five for $61M DTRA team support contract

CENTRA Technology beats out five other bidders including the incumbent for a five-year, $61.8 million contract to support Defense Threat Reduction Agency survivability teams.

CENTRA Technology has won a five-year, $61.8 million contract to help assess the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's mission survivability teams that evaluate U.S. and allied systems for vulnerabilities.

DTRA received six bids in total for the contract and ENSCO was the incumbent on the previous iteration first awarded in December 2011 for a five-year term. Work under the new contract will take place through Aug. 11, 2022.

The agency's Balanced Survivability Assessments Blue Teams assess mission systems, networks, architectures, infrastructures and assets used by both the U.S. and its international partners.

Burlington, Mass.-based CENTRA will carry out design reviews, help prepare briefings and reports and offer on-site support at facilities for U.S. and international government agencies and contractors.
