The work would include providing the hardware, installation, training and monthly wireless GPS vehicle tracking and fleet management. The VA is looking for a Web-based solution and software capable of viewing all the vehicles equipped with GPS.
The VA wants a feature that allows for real-time tracking of vehicles and on-demand and scheduled reports. It also is seeking real-time location pinging, on-board vehicle diagnostics, and the capability of recording position-velocity-time data every 1 to 8 seconds.
The VA released the RFI Aug. 22. Responses are due by Aug. 26.
