ViaSat nabs $48.3M contract to sustain, modernize Navy SATCOM network
ViaSat Inc. has won a $48.3 million contract to help sustain and modernize the Navy’s SATCOM network.
ViaSat Inc. has won a $48.3 million contract to help sustain and modernize the Navy’s SATCOM network.
Under the contract, ViaSat will provide engineering, technical services, hardware and software to support the SATCOM system, a satellite communications system. ViaSat will also support SATCOM channel controllers and user terminals, the Defense Department said in a release.
Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed in June 2021.
