FBI to create $900M IDIQ for Microsoft and web support

The FBI is creating an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract for consulting and engineering services in support of its Microsoft products and for web services.

The IDIQ will be seven years and valued at $900 million.

The FBI said the IDIQ will provide upgraded technology, as well as ensure consistency collaboration, and transparency between the FBI, the Justice Department and other components.

The IDIQ will have three task areas. First is for Microsoft consulting services. It is not restricted to any size company.

The second task area is for engineering and consulting services to support Microsoft products. It’s set aside for woman-owned small businesses and services-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. The third task area is for web support services. It’s set aside for small businesses.

The FBI also noted the scope of the IDIQ may adapt to coincide with IT changes as upgrades to the infrastructure and technology evolve over the lifecycle of the IDIQ.

The FBI released the final solicitation July 6. Responses are due by Aug. 8.
