The Education Department will release a set-aside contract July 26 for program and project management support services for its Federal Student Aid program (FSA).
The Education Department will release a set-aside contract July 26 for program and project management support services for its Federal Student Aid program (FSA).
These services will support specific projects and mission critical systems, such as the Debt Management Collection Service and the Perkins Loan Project throughout FSA.
Work will include a full range of business and technical management services, such as administrative and IT policy planning and IT transformation strategies. The contract will also support capital and strategic planning, performance and data management, information-sharing, information security, enterprise resource management, process re-engineering, and organizational change management.
FSA is a central office in the Education Department. It plays an essential role in postsecondary education as the largest provider of student financial aid in the country.
The contract will be set aside completely for Historically Underutilized Business Zones small businesses or service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses.
The department released its pre-solicitation notice July 21.
