The Air Force wants solution concepts for technical support related to an Acquisition App Store (AAS), as it considers a potential solicitation.

With the solution, the Air Force would need technical support and services, system analysis, design, development, operations, and maintenance expertise for AAS. In addition, it would need related suite of products.

On the hands-on front, the Air Force needs employees with an extensive knowledge of technical capabilities used on the AAP platform or similar ones. They also would need an understanding of the aspects unique to deploying applications to government cloud computing facilities.

AAS delivers the acquisition community a single, flexible, integrated framework for building, discovering, and executing acquisition processes and applications.

The Air Force sees the AAS bringing additional value by creating information through data analytics.

The Air Force released its sources-sought notice July 20. Responses are due by Aug. 19.
