DISA seeks small biz for engineering support contract

The Defense Information Systems Agency is considering a small-business set-aside contract for Defense Collaboration Services (DCS) engineering support.

In a new sources sought notice, DISA said its needs include:

• Complete system lifecycle development
• Engineering services support for the Enterprise-Wide Services Division (SD32) to identify and recommend solutions for DCS system and capabilities improvements
• Risk management framework subject matter experts (SMEs)
• The agency also wants for SMEs for: Testing and evaluation of the DCS system and capabilities; functional training and training support; and support for the network performance and configuration

Currently, DISA is planning for a five-year contract, and responses from small businesses, including each subset, will determine the type contract and level of participation of small companies.

DISA released the sources sought notice May 17. Responses are due by June 1.
