VA looks for more data analytic support

The Veterans Affairs Department plans to tap into more data analytics after successes in several of its pilot programs.

In a new sources-sought notice, VA officials said the data analytics and business intelligence information allowed them to gain valuable operational insights that would have gone undiscovered with raw and unconnected data.

To gain further data insights, the VA is considering contracting for services related to data management, data mining, statistical analysis, and visual analytics software that it currently uses.

The VA issued the notice April 18. Responses are due by April 29.
