Navy plans for $500m small biz IDIQ for management services

The Navy plans to award a five-year, $500 million multiple-award indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract for program and systems support. The contract is set aside for small businesses, and officials expect to make 10 awards.
The IDIQ, named Program and Systems Support—Small Business (PASS-SB), will provide total integrated lifecycle management activities for Project, Program and Portfolio (PPP) management services. PASS-SB will support the Defense Department, other military departments, the U.S. Coast Guard, and NASA. Other tasks under the IDIQ include project and program management, financial management, lifecycle logistics, systems engineering, business analytics, and IT.
In addition, task orders will include physical security operations, such as moving to an enterprise-wide, lifecycle alignment of resources and outputs to achieve top-down performance-driven outcomes for all DOD commands.
The Army, on behalf of the Naval Air Systems Command, issued the solicitation Dec. 10. It released a presolicitation in October. Responses are due by Jan. 15.
