Tribalco acquires Alliant business unit of PROSOFT
Tribalco LLC has acquired the Alliant business unit of Professional Software Engineering, or PROSOFT.
Tribalco LLC has acquired the Alliant business unit of Professional Software Engineering, or PROSOFT.
The General Services Administration’s Alliant governmentwide acquisition contract will allow Tribalco to provide an array of IT services and solutions worldwide for defense and civilian customers.
“This contract is a key element of Tribalco’s growth strategy for the next five years,” said Michele Friedman, Tribalco chief operating officer.
This transaction highlights a trend in the market, said Aronson Capital Partners, who advised PROSOFT on the transaction. Companies are looking for access to prime, full and open contract vehicles to grow, the firm said in a release.
“Firms that possess the prime relationship can better maintain or expand profit margin. Therefore, there is strong buyer interest in targets with prime contract access, and a market for underutilized vehicles that can be sold and novated to an acquirer who can better leverage the contract,” the firm said.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
