IT jobs continue to rise in May

Information technology jobs have continued the trend of tepid growth from last month, according to a report from TechServe Alliance.

For the month of May, the uptick in IT-related jobs was 0.3 percent, with the number of jobs reaching close to 5 million. Last month, jobs also grew by 0.3 percent from the previous month.

Engineering job growth also continued in April, but only barely, growing by 0.1 percent. This growth was slower than the growth seen in April at 0.04 percent.
