Dovel hires VP for grants management program

Dovel Technologies has hired Mike Atassi as a new vice president and as the product and services director supporting the Administration for Children & Families Grants Center of Excellence.

Atassi will work with the group supporting the Health and Human Services center to improve its GrantSolutions.gov platform. It is a grant management system that supports 17 federal agencies.

He comes to Dovel from Cognosante LLC where he was director of the biomedical sciences and analytics business unit. He also has worked at Northrop Grumman and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Atassi has been involved with grants management since 1994 when he led a data migration and conversion team for NIH’s eRA grant management program.
