ICF International has won a $16 million contract to help reduce energy consumption in the state of Maryland.

ICF International has won a $16 million contract to help reduce energy consumption in the state of Maryland.

Under the contract, ICF will help the Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative meet the requirements of the EmPOWER Maryland Energy Efficiency Act, which ICF said stipulates the reduction of overall per capita electric consumption and demand by 15 percent by 2015.

Under the contract, the company will provide energy efficiency expertise, digital and interactice services, data analytics, IT solutions and call center support.
