Lockheed lands $38.5M contract for cockpit data system
Lockheed Martin Mission Systems & Training has won a $38.5 million order for integration services for an advanced data transfer system on the MH-60 helicopter.
Lockheed Martin Mission Systems & Training won a $38.5 million order for engineering services to support the integration and testing of an advanced data transfer system for the MH-60 helicopter.
The work includes mission system and a common cockpit suite.
The contract covers U.S. Navy helicopters as well as aircraft owned by the Australian and Danish governments.
The MH-60 helicopter is described by Lockheed as a multi-mission maritime helicopter. Missions include acting as an anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare platform and being used for medevac operations.
The delivery of the engineering services is expected to run through February 2017.
