The agency’s financial data became vulnerable during a migration to a new production environment. SEC did not appropriately monitor the company who did the transfer, FCW reported.
The new, faulty system has since been shut down, and the agency has reverted back to the older system, FCW said. Be on the lookout for a possible RFI in the future.
