CSG taps former White House official for advisory board

CSG International’s cybersecurity business, CSG Invotas, has named Howard Schmidt, formerly of the Obama White House, and James Mobley to the company's advisory board.

CSG Invotas has named two new members of its advisory board focused on cybersecurity issues.

Howard Schmidt is a partner at Ridge-Schmidt Cyber, an executive services firm that helps business leaders navigate the demands of cybersecurity. Schmidt is also a professor of research at Idaho State University.

He was the cybersecurity coordinator for federal government in the Obama administration.

James Mobley is CEO of Neohapsis, a cybersecurity consultancy. He has held leadership positions at IBM, HP and Symantec.

CSG Invotas offers chief information officers an approach to threat mitigation and eradication by providing automation and orchestration solutions to respond in real time to emerging and ongoing cyber attacks.
