General Dynamics taps new SVP and CFO

General Dynamics has named Jason Aiken senior vice president and chief financial officer of the corporation, effective Jan. 1, 2014.

He succeeds L. Hugh Redd II, who plans to retire from the company.

Aiken currently serves as the senior vice president and chief financial officer of Gulfsteam Aerospace Corp., a subsidiary of General Dynamics. He has been in this position since September 2011.

Before that, he served as vice president and controller of the company. He joined the company in 2002 as director of consolidation accounting.

Aiken holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Washington and Lee University, and an MBA from Northwestern University.
