DynCorp wins option to manage War Reserve Materiel assets

DynCorp International has won an option to continue managing the Air Force’s War Reserve Materiel assets in the Middle East and United States.

DynCorp International has won an option to continue managing the Air Force’s War Reserve Materiel assets in the Middle East and United States.

This option is the fifth out of eight, and brings the total contract value up to $540.7 million. The original contract was awarded in 2008.

Under the option, DynCorp will provide receipt, inventory, accountability, maintenance, repair, inspection, serviceability, marking, storage, security, shipping and reporting of War Reserve Material resources, the company said in a release.

DynCorp’s team members will perform outload and reconstitution of pre-positioned assets, including expeditionary airfield resources, aerospace ground equipment, air base operability equipment, mobility readiness spares packages and peacetime operating stocks, DynCorp said.
