SAIC wins $17M task order to support the Indian Health Service
SAIC has won a $17 million contract with the Indian Health Service to replace its dental records system.
Science Applications International Corp. has won a $17 million task order with the Indian Health Service to replace its electronic dental record system.
The task order is firm-fixed-price/time and materials, and has a one-year base and four one-year options, the company said in a release. It was awarded under the GSA’s Alliant government-wide acquisition contract.
The Indian Health Service is a Health and Human Services agency that provides federal health services to American Indians and to Alaskan Natives, SAIC said.
Under the order, SAIC will provide functional support for all phases of the Electronic Dental Record implementation associated with interface, testing, task management, administration, program oversight.
The company will also provide a software product solution that will include interfaces with the existing resource and patient management system, SAIC said.
Work will be performed primarily in Rockville, Md., but will also take place at other locations nationwide.
