Three win Navy contracts to support shore networks

Booz Allen Hamilton, SAIC and Engility Corp. have won task order contracts to provide the Navy with sustainment services for the Base Level Information Infrastructure, its system of shore networks.

Three companies have won task order contracts with the U.S. Navy to support shore networks with sustainment services for the Base Level Information Infrastructure.

The winners and contract values are:

Booz Allen Hamilton -- $79.3 million
Science Applications International Corp. -- $73.2 million
Engility Corp. -- $67.8 million

The companies will provide a number of services, including project management; engineering, technical and integrated logistics support; configuration management; certification and accreditation; and enterprise applications, the Defense Department said.

Work will be performed in San Diego and is expected to be completed by May 12, 2016.

Funds will be obligated against individual task orders, and will not expire at the end of fiscal 2013.

Four proposals were received for this award.
