Six win spots on $22B Eagle II contract

DHS makes the first set of awards under Eagle II in the validation and verification area of the lucrative procurement vehicle.

The Homeland Security Department made some of the first awards under the seven-year, $22 billion Eagle II contract.

Six awards were made. The contract is replacing the first Eagle contract and is expected to be the primary vehicle for DHS to buy IT services.

The contracts were awarded under the unrestricted track of functional category 3, which covers independent test, validation, verification and evaluation. The companies in this category will compete for task orders to evaluate IT products and services to make sure they meeting DHS standards, according to an agency announcement on the FedBizOpps.gov website.

Awards for category 1 – service delivery – and category 2 – IT program support – have not been made yet.

The winners of this first set of contracts and their core team members are:

  • Pragmatics Inc. Core team member: DDL Omni Engineering LLC
  • MAR Inc. Core team members: Academy Solutions Group, Convergent Solutions Inc., Force3 Inc., and Prometheus Global Corp.
  • Capgemini Government Solutions. Core team members: Information Systems Laboratories Inc., Modern Technology Solutions, and the Mason Harriman Group.
  • The Mil Corp. Core team members: None listed.
  • DCS Corp. Core team members: AUSGAR Technologies Inc., Burke Consortium, and Syzygy Technologies.
  • NTT Data Federal Services Inc. (formerly Keane Federal) Core team members: BSC Systems Inc., Dynamic Security Concepts Inc., and GNS Inc.

The Coast Guard, also a part of DHS, also recently made awards under its $11 billion TABSS contract.
