Northrop selects new VP of command, control and intell unit
Pat Camacho will direct the expansion of critical military infrastructure protection systems.
Northrop Grumman Corp. has named Pat Camacho vice president of integrated command, control communications and intelligence systems for the Defense Systems division in the company's Information Systems sector, according to a Jan. 19 announcement.
Camacho, who will report to Mike Twyman, vice president and general manager of the Defense Systems division, will lead the business unit that provides net-centric operational command and control systems for joint, service and international customers. He also will direct the expansion of critical infrastructure protection systems for military and commercial customers in the U.S. and international markets.
Previously, Camacho was director of the critical infrastructure and force protection operating unit.
During his 32-year career with Northrop Grumman, Camacho served as director of Federal Information Technology Solutions within the former Mission Systems sector. He also was vice president of operations and a member of the board of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Arabia.
Camacho earned a bachelor's degree in Education from San Diego State University and a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
