FedCap group invests in small intell contractor
A private equity group has made an investment in Global Resource Solutions, and the company is restructuring its senior leadership.
Global Resource Solutions has taken on a new minority investor and restructured its senior leadership in a bid to fuel more growth.
FedCap Partners LLC has made an undisclosed investment in the company and with the investment FedCap’s managing member Leslee Belluchie has joined the company’s board of directors. Belluchie is a former executive with SI International and Serco Inc.
GRS provides mission and operational support solutions to the Defense Department and the intelligence community. The company has operations in Tumwater, Wash., and Alexandria, Va. Most of its employees hold security clearances, according to a FedCap announcement.
Among the personnel changes, Janet Simmons, GRS executive vice president and chief operating officer, has become company president.
Foster Payne II, a retired Army intelligence officer, has assumed Simmons’ COO post. He joined the company in June. Tony Williams continues as the company's chairman and CEO.
FedCap Partners of Reston, Va., is a private equity group that invests in small and midsize government contractors. The group has made four investments since launching in 2010. It is led by Belluchie and Rick Knop, managing member.
