ICF wins IT support award for FDA toxicological center

ICF International Inc. will continue to provide information technology services to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration under a five-year, $31.8 million recompete contract.
The new contract calls specifically for ICF International to provide IT and scientific support services to the National Center for Toxicological Research in Jefferson, Ark., according to a company announcement.
Services include computational science and bioinformatics support; development, enhancement, conversion and maintenance of application systems; customer support; and statistical and experiment support for specific toxicology studies.
ICF International provides toxicology informatics solutions, safety assessment, risk assessment, and related support that addresses the full spectrum of potentially hazardous agents, including chemicals, microbes, and radionuclides, according to the statement.
ICF International, of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 66 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
