QinetiQ NA names homeland security unit manager
QinetiQ North America Inc. has named Rick Finn general manager of the Homeland Security Unit in its Mission Solutions Group. He will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations, customer relationships and fiscal goals.
QinetiQ North America Inc. has named Rick Finn general manager of the Homeland Security Business Unit in its Mission Solutions Group. He will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations, customer relationships and fiscal goals.
Finn, who served in the Air Force for 20 years, has more than 30 years’ experience in information technology, with a strong background in networks and communications, information assurance, and intelligence analysis, according to a company announcement released today.
During the past 10 years, he has held various operational leadership roles at Trident Data Systems and Veridian.
Most recently, Finn was director of General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, where he was responsible for its homeland security business, information assurance and intelligence programs.
Finn has a B.S. in computer information systems from Chapman University and an MS in information systems technology from George Washington University.
QinetiQ North America, of McLean, Va., ranks No. 40 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
