Versar's top leadership changes

Theodore Prociv has resigned as president and CEO of Versar Inc. He was replaced by Anthony Otten as CEO and Jeffrey Wagonhurst as president.

Theodore Prociv has resigned as president and CEO of Versar Inc.,

He was replaced by Anthony Otten as CEO and Jeffrey Wagonhurst as president, following approval of the company board of directors.

Prociv will remain a member of the board at Versar, a professional services firm supporting government and industry in national defense/homeland security programs, environmental health and safety, and infrastructure revitalization. The company is based in Springfield, Va.

The board also elected Lawrence Sinnott executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer.

Otten, who also will remain a director of Versar, has more than 25 years’ experience as a CEO and CFO, with extensive experience in general and financial management, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning, according to a company announcement today.

Wagonhurst joined Versar in 1999 and most recently served as executive vice president for the company’s Program Management Group. He has more than 40 years of experience in construction management and government contracting and previously served 30 years in the Army, retiring at the rank of colonel.

Sinnott, a certified public accountant, has more than 20 years of financial experience. He joined Versar in 1991 and has been in charge of financial operations as CFO and treasurer since 1994. He has been an executive vice president since 2005.
