Perot to assist with IT initiatives at Fort Monmouth

Perot Systems Corp. will continue providing information technology support services to Fort Monmouth, N.J., under a three-year, $37 million Army contract.

Perot will assist with ongoing IT infrastructure and consolidation efforts at the Army installation, company officials said July 2. As part of its work on the previous contract, Perot and its teammates helped the Army establish a single organization — the Directorate of Information Management — to oversee IT resources at the base.

Perot subsidiary QSS Group Inc. will perform the work, the officials said.

Perot, of Plano, Texas, ranks No. 40 on Washington Technology’s 2009 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
