Torti steps down as Stanley's SVP of technical programs

Christopher Torti, senior vice president and group manager of Stanley Inc.’s Technical Programs Group, is leaving the company to pursue future career opportunities.

Christopher Torti, senior vice president and group manager of Stanley Inc.’s Technical Programs Group, is leaving the company May 29 to pursue future career opportunities, the company announced today.

The Technical Programs Group provides engineering, scientific, technology and specialized technical support services to the Army, Navy and other federal agencies.

Eric Wolking, Stanley’s senior vice president for corporate development, will be promoted to replace Torti, the announcement added.

Wolking has been with Stanley for 10 years. Most recently, he managed the company’s mergers and acquisitions program along with the proposal development, marketing and communications groups.

Previously, he served as Stanley’s account manager for federal civilian programs.

Stanley, of Arlington, Va., ranks No. 48 on Washington Technology’s 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
