Tyler inks financial management software deal
Tyler Technologies Inc. will provide financial management software to the city of Bridgeport, Conn., under a new contract.
Tyler Technologies Inc. will provide financial management software to the city of Bridgeport, Conn., under a $2.1 million contract.
Under the contract, Tyler will furnish its Munis financial management software to city agencies and the public schools, company officials said today. The deal includes software licenses, professional services, and maintenance and support services.
Municipal agencies will receive Tyler’s citizen, vendor and employee self-service applications to facilitate Web access to information and online transactions.
The city also purchased disaster recovery and database administration services, the officials said.
Bridgeport, which has more than 137,000 residents, is the largest city in Connecticut.
Tyler, of Dallas, offers information management technologies and services to local governments.
