Tyler ropes Texas county software deal
Tyler Technologies Inc. will provide its integrated courts and justice software suite to Cameron County, Texas, under a new contract.

The Dallas company will install its Odyssey Case Manager software for the county through an existing licensing agreement with the Texas Conference of Urban Counties, of which Cameron County is a member, company officials said Jan. 5. The newly signed contract covers software implementation and related professional services, they said.
Cameron County, which has a population of more than 387,000, is located in the southeastern corner of the state. The county seat is Brownsville.
Tyler specializes in information management products and services for local governments.
