QuadraMed Corp. will continue providing its health information management and revenue management software to the Veterans Affairs Department under a one-year, $23.4 million task order.

QuadraMed’s technology solutions will help VA medical centers enhance workflow through inpatient and outpatient coding, compliance, claims editing and revenue cycle management, company officials said in a news release Dec. 15. The Reston, Va., company’s software offers real-time compliance monitoring, customizable billing and coding edits, electronic work assignment, and communication tools, they said.

The subcontractors on the project are DSS Inc., Megas Corp. and Unicor.

Veterans Affairs renewed QuadraMed’s task order under a blanket purchase agreement that has existed since 2005, company officials said.

The renewal includes the term license for QuadraMed's Encoder Product Suite and related training services for all veterans medical centers nationwide during the fiscal 2009 fiscal year.

The $23.4 million task order includes software licenses of $19.9 million, services of $2.6 million and travel expenses of $900,000.
