CSC hires Mancuso as CFO
Computer Sciences Corp. has named Michael Mancuso as its new chief financial officer.
Computer Sciences Corp. has named Michael Mancuso as its new vice president and chief financial officer. He replaces Donald DeBuck, who was interim CFO, the company said.
DeBuck will continue as vice president and corporate controller.
Mancuso is coming out of retirement to take the CSC position. He retired as CFO of General Dynamics Corp. in 2006, a position he held for about 12 years. Before working at General Dynamics, Mancuso held several senior management positions at United Technologies Corp., and he spent 21 years with General Electric in various financial management positions.
"His broad experience with global, industry-leading companies makes him a perfect fit for this role, and I look forward to working with him as we continue to execute our multi-year strategic plan and position CSC for future growth and profitability," said CSC Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Michael Laphen.
In addition to accepting the CSC position, Mancuso has resigned from the board of directors of CACI International Inc.
CSC is ranked No. 9 on Washington Technology's 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
