Raytheon to support Navy training programs

Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC will provide education and training solutions to the Navy under a five-year contract with a maximum value of $43 million.

The subsidiary of Raytheon Co. will assist the Naval Education and Training Professional Development and Technology Center, Pensacola, Fla., with instructional systems development, program management and analytical support.

The indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract also calls for the delivery of products, tools and services to the Navy's Total Force enterprise to develop a workforce capable of meeting current and future warfighting efforts.

Raytheon's training capabilities include initial training analysis, system design and curriculum development as well as training delivery, logistics and evaluation.

Raytheon Co. ranks No. 4 on Washington Technology's 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
