The Army is seeking information from small businesses on their capabilities as they relate to supporting its future combat systems program.
In a sources-sought notice posted Sept. 4, the Army is asking small businesses to submit information packages in which they will summarize and outline their capabilities. Small business contractors should limit their responses to five pages and submit them electronically, the notice states.
Those that respond should indicated their experience with large global enterprise systems engineering, the size of their technical staff, relevant past performance and any experience with strategic, analytical, operational and programmatic support for the Army's Modular Force and Future Combat Systems modernization efforts.
Responses are due Sept. 19. The Army plans to issue a request for proposals for a five-year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract on or about Nov. 4.
