Rising Star: Dan Ellis

DIRECTOR, FEDERAL SERVICESEverware-CBDIEllis coordinated the development of "The PracticalGuide to Federal Service-Oriented Architecture" forAmerican Council for Technology/Industry AdvisoryCouncil to support the CIO Council. The guide is thefoundation for SOA adoption across the federalgovernment.His other accomplishments include work at theLibrary of Congress to develop a storage referencearchitecture to manage the storage requirementsfor the library's growing digital collections. Ellis alsosupported the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office'se-government efforts.As director of federal services for Everware-CBDI,Ellis is responsible for bringing the company's servicearchitecture and engineering methodology tothe federal government.
