SI International wins pair of Census contracts

SI International Inc. will help manage the local network and desktop PCs at the Census Bureau under two contracts worth up to $14.1 million.
The company will provide the bureau's LAN Technology Support Office with local-area network and desktop management services. Each task order has one base year and two one-year options.
The company will provide support in five areas: information technology security, systems architecture, desktop management, help desk and server operations. The services provided will include operational IT security support, server operations, end-user software and applications support, and storage services.
SI International, of Reston, Va., ranks No. 44 on Washington Technology's 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
