Respondents cited concerns about proper usage and security as the
main reasons for reluctance to adopt the technologies.
Thirty-one percent said they were worried that Web 2.0 will be used
for personal reasons instead of work, 28 percent are concerned about
information security and 27 percent worry about employees wasting
time. But 53 percent also said Web 2.0 applications will improve
employee performance during the next five years.
