EFJ gets order for submersible radios
EFJ Inc. will deliver submersible portable radios and accessories to the Homeland Security Department.
EFJ Inc. will deliver submersible portable radios and accessories to the Homeland Security Department under a $1.8 million task order, the company said this month.
The Project 25-compliant radios are part of a $16 million contract the company won from DHS in October. So far EFJ has received orders totaling $4.3 million under the contract.
Project 25 is a suite of standards for digital radio communications used by federal, state and local public safety agencies in North America to enable them to communicate with each other when responding to emergencies and disasters.
EFJ of Irving, Texas, specializes in secure communications solutions for first responders, federal agencies and industrial organizations.
