NCI tasked with USAF technical support
The company will provide technical oversight support to the U.S. Strategic Command's Global Command and Control System Program Management Office.
NCI Information Systems Inc. has won an Air Force Network Centric Solutions contract worth about $4.5 million over two years to provide technical oversight support to the U.S. Strategic Command's Global Command and Control System Program Management Office.
The competitive procurement contract extends the work that the company has been performing for the Strategic Command at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., for more than 12 years.
Under the new award, NCI will continue to provide technical oversight, system engineering and analysis, testing, and tracking in addition to Web page support and training. The contract also covers system administration, operations, maintenance and integration services.
Earlier this month, NCI won a task order worth as much as $97.2 million under the Army's Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-2 Services contract.
NCI ranks No. 96 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
