Three small businesses have joined CDW-G's Small Business Partner Consortium, giving them a close relationship to the reseller.

The three join nine other firms already in the program. CDW-G has renewed their one-year contracts.

CDW-G created the consortium in 2003. Small businesses compete for a limited number of spots and the successful competitors get one-year contracts that CDW-G can renew. The consortium's purpose is to give the small businesses access to CDW-G's resources, including its e-commerce, service and distribution capabilities. In return, CDW-G gets a stable of reliable, proven partners.

The partners fall into several small business categories. Some fit more than one, but in total, CDW-G counts five 8(a) firms, seven small disadvantaged business, four service-disabled veteran-owned companies, two woman-owned firms and four businesses based in Historically Underutilized Business zones.

The new members are:

  • ABM Federal Sales Inc. of St. Charles, Mo.
  • Meadowgate Technologies LLC of Trenton, N.J.
  • Govplace of Irvine, Calif.
