Tyler to build courts system for Texas client

Tyler Technologies Inc. has won a contract to install a court case management system for Hidalgo County, Texas.

Under a $2 million contract, Tyler of Dallas will implement its Odyssey court case management system for the county and provide related professional services.

Hidalgo County will obtain the software license through an existing contract between Tyler and the Texas Conference of Urban Counties.

Hidalgo County, which is located in the Rio Grande Valley, has a population of more than 700,000 and is the seventh largest county in Texas.

Tyler provides information management services and solutions to local governments. Its customer base includes more than 6,000 local government offices throughout the 50 states, Canada, Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom.
